Valentines Day Eve

Grace decided she really didn't need a boyfriend or anything, but getting roses on Valentines Day would be really cool. So Sean went out and got her some roses. Anything to put off the boyfriend thing for a while!

Not So Patiently Waiting

Can you even tell what that is? It is the bassinet in our room with a blanket and the wedge thingy in it. So if the baby is born at least there is a place for him/her to sleep. I washed a bunch of gowns, onsies, blankets and burp cloths the other day. I also took two outfits back to Blessed Baby to be monogramed once we know if baby bum is a girl or a boy. So I am starting to feel a little prepared from that standpoint. The rest of it I am starting to panic about. My house needs serious work as far as it needs to be deep cleaned. I do not want to bring a baby into this house right now. This weekend is not too crazy so for Valentines Day I want to clean house. Romantic, huh! I guess when you waddle instead of walk this is about as romantic as it gets. Ha!

Snow Day

The snow is really coming down here!! Where we live we usually get rain or just a little snow once a year, it all hits just north of us. This year, we have really had snow! GW is loving it and MG seems to like it a lot also. Our crazy black lab would live in it if we let her! I prefer to just open the blinds and watch it from the comfort of my heated house! Ha! Sean is from Minnesota so getting out and driving to work is no big deal for him, it makes me a nervous wreck. Even though he knows how to drive in this, all those other people driving to work are from Arkansas, and have no clue how to drive on this stuff. Anyway, I am going to get some hot chocolate going and just enjoy the view! It really is pretty.

Braces Take Two

Grace had her second set of braces put on this morning. She had braces when she was eight or nine. She only had 6 brackets on top and 6 on bottom then, now she has a full set. She did great this morning and practically jumped out of the car to show her friends at school, but when I picked her up she was hurting. She has been taking Motrin, but she is still sore. I sent noodle soup for her lunch and she said it still hurt. She started crying while looking for a snack this afternoon and ended up eating mac-n-cheese and said that was OK. Any suggestions for food would be great, she can't eat a lot of things she is used to. She is playing basketball tonight, so we will see how that goes. She does have a mouth guard the doc gave her, but it just seems like a mouth full! I have a feeling we will have a few rough days around here getting used to all this.
