Services for Evan will be on Friday at 2:00 at Community Bible Church. Visitation will be the hour before the service. Thank you for your prayers, emails, and calls. We can feel the prayers that are surrounding us right now.
Monica-- I was directed to your blog through a friend. I lost my daughter this past summer to T13 and I want you to know that there are hundreds of people lifting you and your family in prayer. I will pray for peace and comfort in the days to come as I know all too well the emotion you will face. Please know I am here to support you in anyway I can... Tamara gavin.family@yahoo.com
I just want you to know that I am so sorry for your loss, and I will be praying for you. I know there are really no words to say, other than I will be praying. Your son was absolutely beautiful. My heart aches. blessings- Laura from FL
I only found your blog on Tuesday.. I am so very sorry for all that you are going through and for your heartbreaking loss.
I have been pregnant 5 times, and only have two of my children still with me.. I found this poem on another mom's blog this morning, and just knew I had to pass it on to you..
May you find peace in this very difficult time.

I thought of you and closed my eyes, And prayed to God today. I asked "what makes a Mother?" and I know I heard him say: "A mother has a baby" this we know is true. "But God can you be a mother when your baby's not with you?" "Yes you can," he replied with confidence in his voice "I give many women babies when they leave is not their choice. Some I send for a lifetime and others for a day. And some I send to feel your womb, but there's no need to stay." "I just dont understand this God I want my baby here. "He took a breath and cleared his throat and then I saw a tear "I wish that I could show you what your child is doing today If you could see your child smile with other children who say: "We go to Earth and learn our lessons of love and life and fear. My mommy loved me oh so much I got to come straight here. "I feel so lucky to have a mom who had so much love for me. I learned my lessons very quickly, my mommy set me free. I miss my mommy oh so much, but I visit her each day. When she goes to sleep on her pillow's where I lay I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek and whisper in her ear Mommy dont be sad today, I'm your baby and I'm here. "So you see my dear sweet one your children are okay Your babies are here in my home they'll be at heaven's gate for you. So now you see what makes a mother its the feeling in your heart. Its the love you had so much of right from the very start. Though some on earth may not realize you are a Mother until their time is done. They'll be up here with me one day and you'll know that youre the best one.

Lifting you to the Lord. 'Lord, thank you that You keep Your promises. Be near to the broken hearted. Bind up the wounds.' My heart aches for you and your family. Your beautiful son has and will touch many lives. May you be comforted by the One who know the plans He has for you, your family, your son.
I found your blog via Angie Smith's Twitter comments. I am praying for you and your family and am heartbroken for you. I hope that you can feel the prayers and love of strangers during this overwhelming time.
I also found your blog from Angie's blog. Your little Evan looks so sweet in the pictures you posted... Even though we are strangers, my heart aches for you and i want you to know I am lifting you up in prayer.
