Sweet Sisters

We spent last weekend in Bentonville. It was the state tournament for Grace's softball team. It was Carolina's first stay in a hotel. I did not take one picture. Sean did. With his iphone. So I will just share some sweet pictures of the two of them playing the other day. Oh, and another one of the puppy who is sneaking in another sniff of the baby. Grace's team. Not so hot at state, but better than last year. Carolina, froze in the hotel room and did not sleep that much. Garrett had a blast with tv and the pool, and Dairy Queen. twice.

It's Friday - I'm in love

Week 15. I am of the opinion that Carolina should always wear blue. It makes her eyes stand out! I ordered her cute outfit and bow from Sarah and I love it because it is big enough that I think this winter I can put a long sleeve onesie and jeans with it and she can wear it as a shirt! Barbie is very fascinated with Carolina. She sniffs her every chance she gets, and tries to get a good lick in also. She snuck up and sniffed while I was taking a picture!

Morning Routine - 3 months

I just wanted to post this mainly for myself. She has changed so much in 3 short months and I don't want to forget this stuff!
First of all, I am so blessed when it comes to sleeping. She goes down around 10:30. She wakes up around 3:30/4:00 and nurses and goes right back to sleep. She wakes up again around 6:30 and nurses and goes right back to sleep. She usually wakes up one more time to nurse before getting up for the morning around 10:00.

She likes to lay on her little play mat for a while and talk to the butterflies.

Then we change the diaper and get dressed for the day.

She likes to go outside and sit in the hammock for a little while. It is so hot now that we really can't
do this for very long. Barbie likes to come out with us and sunbathe.


Then we usually play for a little while. This morning I put her in her bed to play because I was vacuuming her room. We usually lay on the floor and she kicks her feet and chews on a toy until I put her on her tummy. She is not a big fan of tummy time so she will just fuss at me then roll over!

After all this fun she wants to nurse again and it is time for a nap. She loves soft furry blankets with a satin side also. She loves to have it rubbed on her face. It is usually a short nap, but this is what I am greeted with when she wakes up!

This usually brings up to lunch time when Daddy comes home to play for a little while. There really is no routine to our afternoon and evenings! We are usually on the go! I am very lucky to have a baby who doesn't mind being on the go, but she really loves to be at home!

It's Friday - I'm in love

Week 14. Could you not just eat those cheeks up!! You are just growing and growing. You still eat on demand, and you demand a lot! ha! I think you use me as a pacifier. You are sleeping in your bassinet so well! You get up once a night, eat, and go right back down in your basinet. You used to have to be held after you got up, or sleep in your car seat. Thinking about maybe moving you to your room soon! You are such a big girl! You love to be outside so we sit in the hammock a lot. You are also starting to give kisses!!!!

Can you tell any difference from one week to another? She is getting so big! She will be three months tomorrow. It is just going by way too fast.

Week in Review

Blogger has not been helpful lately. So I will just recap last week. Carolina went swimming, she could pretty much care less! ha! We went to a Natural's game. We all loved it. We sat in the grassy area because we thought it would be easier with the stroller and all the kids. It was great! We were pretty much the only one's sitting there. The kids ran around and played then sat and watched the game for a while. Carolina loves being in the grass outside! It was great! Saturday was my birthday and I spent it at the ball fields where Gracie's team won district! We stayed in the winners bracket the whole tournament and only allowed 5 runs the whole tournament! Very proud of my favorite 3rd baseman! I like the winners bracket. We played two games Friday night then 3 games on Saturday. We had enough of a break that I got to go to Rivertowne BBQ for my birthday dinner (YUM!). The team we played in the finals played two games Friday and six games on Saturday!! Those girls had to be so tired by the time it came to the championship game!! Anyway. That is what has been going on with us!

Week 12
Her cute onsie came from Little Uni and was a gift from my sweet friend and is one of my very favorite things to put on her right now!
She is growing out of clothes like crazy! It is really making me sad to put up outfits! Is that crazy! She is talking more and more and thinks she is just a big girl! She prefers the swing to the bouncy seat. In fact she pretty much cries if we try to put her in her bouncy seat. I am so torn because I love seeing her grow and do things, but I still want that little baby!
